Iceberg

The seals and whales need your help! The hunters have arrived with their boats and are moving across the ice sheets in search of their prey. Before they succeed, try to push them into the water by moving and pushing ice sheets. The iceberg animals are counting on you!

The work of Dennis Merkx, Kees Meis and Frank Van Steenbergen, in Iceberg 2 to 6 players will try to save the seals and whales, protecting them from fishing boats and hunters. On your turn you will push and slide three ice sheets on the board to make the fishing boats and hunters fall on the opposite side. But be careful! Be careful not to knock the seals and whales off the board, because the turn ends immediately! You earn 1 point for each fishing boat and each hunter you take off the board, and your goal is to get 5 points.

Iceberg is played on a circular board that is placed on top of the game box itself. The cardboard pieces that make ice blocks have different shapes and dimensions, so it will be difficult to guess which way they will fall when they are pushed against each other. Seals and hunters have their own pieces of wood, also of different shapes and sizes. So some pieces will fall more easily than others.

Ideal to play with the little ones at home, Iceberg is a very striking game due to its preparation. Little by little, the ice blocks will displace the rest, causing ships, figures and other ice blocks to fall. With the right amount of strategy (choosing the right piece and the best angle at which to slide it on the board) and luck (often more pieces will fall than desired) and with a very tight duration, fun is guaranteed. And don't let the ice fool you: in this game, big and small have the same chance of winning!
